I began my week last week feeling a bit dumpy. I think I had a touch of the flu and I didn't feel like I had celebrated Celee's birthdayon Sunday the way she deserved. My girls are always bailing me out of what ever I get myself into. (My family is awesome)! I tried to pull off the party without their help. Lib had to work Sun. morn and Jessica spent the day with her family. I tried to pull the pary off myself:( Anyway I made not so great cheesecake and spaghetti with not so great sauce. The bread sticks got done after the meal so we had to have cinnasticks. To top it off I had not found her a gift. The week went on and I just felt worse day by day with the flu. Saturday came and I was feeling better, so Daff, Navy and I spent the morning at Jr. Jazz games until 1:00 watching Daffnee and some of our friends and neighbors games. I really had a good time sitting with my friends and visiting. Afterward Bobby and I traveled to Twin Falls to watch Baylor in a boxing match at a fundraiser for CSI. I was worried about him because his health has been poor for the past 3 or 4 months. Losing near 40lbs. Well he was the 9th match and did very well. (no training). When it was over they raised his hand and his apponant walked off to his corner and Baylor hustled after him and patted him on the back to stop, turn around and Bay shook his hand and and gave him a bit of a man hug. Then he humbly left the ring. No hoopla or eragance as we had seen after nearly every fight.
If you are anything like me you think that all that nagging to "say thanks , get your elbows off the table, say excuse me, no thank you and just plain be nice and don't hurt your friends feelings" is all a waste of your breath. Then one day they do something out of the blue, showing you they were listening after all. I turned and looked at Bobby with a dropped jaw and watery eyes and he looked back at me with a smile. I got my pick-me-up! I'm ready for this new week!

Your kids are so busy! I swear you're on the go 24/7. What great parents you are to be there for all their events. Baylor is so handsome and a gentleman to boot, what a catch! When I picked up Jackson from school Monday, I saw Baxtor with lots of pick lipstick. (from the assembly) It made me laugh it was so funny. What cute kids.
